I'm a writer. Infinite Play is my newsletter focused on Work, Happiness, Money, and general life Philosophy.
I'm also currently writing a book, slated for late 2024, about the crypto mania from 2020 - 2022.
I used to write about a lot of other topics on this site, but that feels like a different phase of life now. You can find those articles archived here. Though some of the best writing is in my old newsletter, which I sent every Monday from May 2016 to May 2022.
I've also published my notes from 250+ books, articles, and speeches in case you want to check those out.
And I've released a few courses here over the years.
Finally, I am easiest to reach on Twitter. Say hi there if you enjoy any of my work in the places above.

"As a longtime newsletter creator, I'm also a newsletter "connoisseur" and subscribe to 50+ newsletters. A tiny sliver of those make it to my "must read list" and Nat's Medley is high on that list. The newsletter is consistent in its ability to delight me, with a provocative piece that I would have missed or a business tactic to help me scale RadReads. I highly recommend this newsletter to entrepreneurs, creators, executives — and anyone who digs intelligent and unique ideas."

"Great newsletter. With the amount of information that is out there, it is extremely useful to have the tools to dilute the information you receive fast and efficiently (getting everything of use out of it). This newsletter is a perfect example of information dilution that works effectively. It's the goldilocks equivalent of newsletters. Not too much information, not too little information, it's just right."
Elmer Hoogland

"Great weekly digest of insightful and educational reads across a wide range of topics. One of the few emails I almost always open, and I often can't help but dig more into a handful of the articles. Come to think of it, I kind of hate the Medley because every Monday, I think I'm going to have such a focused and productive morning, and then as soon as I go in my inbox, I can't help but read the Medley and its links. Though it's definitely led me to some useful insights and learnings so I guess it evens out."

I found newsletters to be a way that saves me a ton of time by curating the fire hose that is online content! Nat's Monday Medley is one of my favorites. It's a good blend of different, interesting topics. His design is also better and easier to read than most (not giant blocks of text, more scannable). I'd highly recommend it!"
Casey Ames

My Inbox is filled with non-sense, ranging from discounts at online stores that I've never shopped at to Todoist sending me daily reminders of my never-ending to-do list. But within all this noise, Nat's newsletter really stands out and is a joy to read through every week!"

What I like most about this newsletter is that it feels authentic and the content is genuinely interesting. Keep up the good work and let us know if we can ever help with anything."
Alon Shabo

"Honestly, the wide variety of topics in the Medley such as business, health, technology, world, etc almost always align with what I am interested in and if they don't, I look at it as something I might want to be interested in. Along with having greatly curated articles, you also do an amazing job at boiling the information down into an abstract that is concise enough to get the main gist across yet juicy enough to want to click the link and read the whole article."

"I took a job out of high school at IBM before going to university – in 1989. I had email and instant messaging on a mainframe called WARVM5 (Warwick in England, Virtual Machine 5). After my undergrad I got a job at Goldman Sachs, and was one of the first people to get email, in 1994. It is incredible to think that before that, all internal communication was by paper memo, and voicemail. (For example, if you made an error that resulted in a profit or loss, you had to leave a voicemail for the partners taking responsibility and outlining steps to address the issue). Within a few years, we were deluged by email, and it absorbed a huge percentage of our time. People generally either filed nothing, or everything. (I adopted David Allen’s Getting Things Done in Microsoft Outlook). Search tools back then were appalling, so filing nothing was hardly an option – until x1 search came along, which changed everything for me. Wind forward to 2021, I have left my finance career and am training as a coach & legal mediator, so I don’t have to suffer an employing organisation’s email disfunction. Much of what I read I pull from various sources – Twitter, Pocket, websites, etc. I get a very limited amount of news and information pushed to me, (partly because I still aim for inbox-zero). Your email is one of those push sources. It is perfectly judged for frequency, length, and strike rate of interesting content – as a result I read it from start to finish each week. There is much to provoke my thought process and to explore."
Tim Johnston
"I have been subscribed for a few weeks now. What I enjoy most is reading news that is outside the scope of most sources—in a personable voice."
